Just over two months after Chipotle’s ShopHouse shuttered all 15 of its restaurants nationwide, Bibibop Asian Grill, announced it has taken over those spaces, including the one in Westwood.
The Korean-style chain’s concept is similar to ShopHouse’s, in that diners create a bowl of food from a variety of choices.
Bibibop choices include rice, salad or a roll, followed by a selection of toppings ranging from meats and vegetables to sauces, all with a Korean bent.
Kimchi anyone?
The Westwood store is located at 1059 Broxton Avenue. No word yet on exact opening dates, but hiring signs have been posted in the storefronts, and Bibibop’s website says, “Coming soon!”
