The Brentwood Market, 11725 Barrington Ct., has been in business for almost 80 years. With its new coffee bar and upcoming additions, it might continue to satisfy Brentwood customers for another 80 years.
Tony Moayee, who has owned the market for the last two years, is very proud of the market’s newly added coffee bar. Moayee said he decided to open the coffee bar to satisfy the demand of his customers. Since the coffee bar opened three weeks ago, Moayee said Brentwood customers have been very supportive.
“It’s been wonderful, we’ve had a great response,†he said. “If the product was on a scale from 1-10, it’s an 11.â€
The coffee bar is fully stocked with all Italian coffee, fresh fruit smoothies with no preservatives or sugar and fresh baked pastries and bagels.
“The New York-style bagels, cream cheese and lox are the best in town,†Moayee said. “I eat one everyday, they’re fabulous.â€
Despite the success of the coffee bar, Moayee has not finished upgrading the market. He said the next step for the upgrade process is a seating area, which should be available within the next couple weeks. Over the next months, Moayee said customers could expect four to six frozen yogurt machines and an expansion of the deli. The deli will expand to include hot food and an assortment of Mexican, Mediterranean and Italian cuisine.
