YOUR CARD, YOUR SAVINGS

YOUR Card, started by three Los Angeles-based entrepreneurs, announced that it has launched an all-new program designed to save Los Angeles families money, give merchants an effective way to increase sales and help local schools raise much needed funds.

YOUR Card is not a coupon or discount book. It is the next generation of environmentally friendly shopping. YOUR Card is carried like a credit card and presented to merchants at the time of purchase. YOUR Card will work in conjunction with merchants throughout West Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills who will offer YOUR Card holders exclusive product and service discounts. YOUR Card holders will save money time after time on everything from coffee to carwashes, dentists to dry cleaning and burgers to books. And unlike other discount programs and coupons, YOUR Card can be used as much as the cardholder chooses.

Participating in the YOUR Card program provides merchants with an edge against their competitors – increasing their sales while supporting the local community. For consumers, shopping in the neighborhood is one of the most direct ways to impact the economic health of the community.

The fundraising impact of YOUR Card will come into play when schools and other organizations sell the YOUR Card for a fee and retain a portion of the proceeds. At a time when Los Angeles schools and other organizations face drastic budget cuts, schools and little leagues are quickly jumping on-board. Additionally, a portion of YOUR Card profits will be donated to The Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA.

“We have been supporting the community since 1959 and YOUR Card is a wonderful way to continue this tradition,†said Jon Saul, owner of Juniors Restaurant, who is offering YOUR Card holders 10% off their entire check at his restaurant in West LA.

Other participating merchants include to Velocity Sports Performance, Beverly Hills Sports Camp, Majestic Crest Theater, Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier, Nosh of Beverly Hills, 7-11, Whole Foods Market, Carriage Trade-Regal Cleaners and Beverly Hills Orthodontist and over 100 more. YOUR Card cardholders receive updates as new merchants join the YOUR Card program and the website is continually updated with new merchant offerings.

†As a company, our vision is to connect consumers with local businesses they often frequent “said YOUR Card CEO David Kingsdale. “As consumers continue to be watchful with their spending, they look to businesses offering the best discounts.â€

Kingsdale added, “Traditional coupons we all receive in the mail just don’t give merchants the bang for the buck that YOUR Card does and they waste paper. Our research shows that businesses, large and small, are looking for new and cost effective ways to reach consumers and to increase sales and YOUR Card does just that. Our cardholders will receive updates as new merchants join the YOUR Card program and our website will be continually updated with new merchant offerings.â€
