“I am very proud of them! Next stop? All city competition!” said Unarmed commander cadet Master Sergeant Ruby Carbajal.
To prepare for this competition the unarmed drill team attended practice every morning from 6:45 am to 8:10 am. “ It was hard waking up early in the morning but it was worth it in the end.†said cadet captain and member of the 10 person winning team Jose Landaverde.
