Open the Actor’s Golden Box at Edgemar Center for the Arts and hone your craft in 48 hours.

Each two-day workshop will offer actors the opportunity to create vivid, fleshed-out and interesting characters through an intense and emotional workshop with technique exercises and lectures. Not just for actors, the course is also of benefit to writers and others in allied professions.
In addition to these excerises, students will analyze film clips of performances by Meryl Streep, Judi Dench, Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, James Dean and others.

Danner, Artistic Director of the Edgemar Center for the Arts, has coached A list talent including; James Franco, Salma Hayek, Gerard Butler, Chris Rock, Penelope Cruz, and others in addition to directing plays in New York and Los Angeles. She has also helmed two films; “How to Go Out on a Date in Queens†(Jason Alexander and Rob Estes) and the recently completed “Hello Herman†(Norman Reedus and Martha Hagerida).
