A man who retreated into his Beverly Hills home when police tried to serve him with a protective order surrendered to officers as they surrounded his home today.
Beverly Hills police Lt. Lincoln Hoshino had little information about the standoff that started in the 100 block of South Clark Drive about 1:30 p.m.
The man was taken into custody about 2:40 p.m.
No information was immediately available about the protective order.
According to broadcast reports, two children were watching television inside the home.
