Deal Would Be One of the Biggest Real Estate Sales in 2024
Pulitzer Prize winning rapper Kendrick Lamar has agreed to purchase a home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles for over $40 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.
If finalized, the deal will be one of the most expensive in Los Angeles this year. The seller is a trust associated with former Fox News Legal and Policy officer Viet Dinh and his wife, Jennifer Ashworth Dinh. They bought the property for $19.5 million in 2019, property records show.
The home was not officially on the market at the time of the sale. A 2019 listing described the property as a roughly 16,000-square-foot estate on nearly an acre. It features an eight-bedroom main house, a wine cellar, a gym, a pool, and a guesthouse.
The real estate agents involved in the deal include Cindy Ambuehl and Morgan Trent of Christie’s International Real Estate, and Mark Norton of Palm Realty Boutique.
