Fifteen full nights of partial and full closures on the San Diego (405) Freeway near Los Angeles International Airport began Monday evening to allow construction of a bridge for the Crenshaw/LAX Line light rail project.
The closures will feature overnight full or partial directional closures from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday to Friday, although the freeway will be fully open during the weekends.
The scheduled closures include:
— northbound lanes completely closed between Century and La Tijera boulevards overnights Monday evening through Friday night;
— partial closure of the northbound and southbound high occupancy vehicle lanes and the 1 and 2 lanes from Aug. 7 to Aug. 11; and
— southbound lanes fully closed between the La Cienega off-ramp and La Tijera on-ramp Aug. 14 to Aug. 18.
