A group of protesters upset about Donald Trump’s presidential election victory marched through downtown Los Angeles Wednesday, beginning at Pershing Square and eventually rallying and chanting on the Spring Street steps of City Hall.
Police said a small crowd of about 15 people gathered shortly before 11 p.m. Tuesday near Pershing Square located at 532 S. Olive St.
The crowd grew to several dozen people and eventually reached Los Angeles City Hall. Around 2 a.m., the crowd was gathered on the City Hall steps, chanting slogans such as “We stand together.”
No arrests were reported.
One protester told the Los Angeles Times she couldn’t understand how the nation’s voters could support “such negativity.”
