Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is scheduled to begin a two-day visit to the Los Angeles area today to appear on the ABC late-night show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and hold three fundraisers for her campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Clinton will tape her appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday afternoon at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and it will air that night.

Pop star Christina Aguilera and her fiance-producer Matthew Rutler will host a fundraiser for Clinton at their home today, with Aguilera set to perform, according to the invitation. Those raising $10,000 will receive four tickets, the entertainment trade publication Variety reported.

Filmmaker and actor Rob Reiner and his wife Michele will host a fundraiser for Clinton at their home on Thursday. Tickets start at $500, with those donating $2,700 getting to pose for a picture with Clinton and those raising $27,000 being admitted to a “host reception,” according to Variety.

Clinton will also hold a fundraising reception Thursday at the home of Cynthia Telles, the director of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute Spanish- speaking Psychosocial Clinic, and her husband, NBCUniversal executive Joe Waz.

Tickets start at $1,000, with those donating $2,700 getting to pose for a picture with Clinton  and those raising $27,000 being admitted to a “host reception,” Variety reported.

Clinton is also scheduled to hold fundraisers in Sacramento from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. today and in St. Helena in Napa County on Thursday.

The maximum individual contribution under federal law for a candidate seeking his or her party’s presidential nomination is $2,700.

The trip to Southern California will be the fifth for Clinton since she declared her candidacy on April 12.

Clinton, who turned 68 on Oct. 26, conducted 11 fundraisers and participated in a roundtable discussion with a group of home care providers during her previous visits to the region.
