Authorities today sought public help to find an 81-year-old woman whose family reported she may have early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.
In Son Yang was last seen Thursday about 6 p.m. at her home in the 1900 block of South Oxford Avenue in the Harvard Heights area, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
“Ms. Yang is reported to be in good mental condition, but her family is concerned she may have early symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease, and they are concerned for her safety,” according to an LAPD statement.
Yang is Korean, 5 feet tall, weighs about 100 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. She walks with the aid of a purple cane.
