The Los Angeles Dodgers will conduct their annual Japan Night at Wednesday’s game against the Atlanta Braves at Dodger Stadium.

An origami workshop will be conducted from 5-7 p.m. in the right field pavilion plaza where the Nisei Week queen and princesses will make an appearance from 5:30-6:15 p.m.

Erika Makiko Olsen, the 2011 Nisei Week queen will perform the national anthem.

A special extreme loaded hot dog, the Teriyaki Dog, will be available at extreme loaded dog concession stands on the field, loge and reserve levels.

It is an all-beef hot dog topped with Japanese mayonnaise, teriyaki sauced, caramelized onions and nori seaweed.

Other pregame festivities include Tommy Davis, the 1962 and 1963 National League batting champion, signing autographs in the right field pavilion plaza from 5-7 p.m., the same time Dennis Powell, who pitched for the Dodgers in 1985 and 1986, will be signing autographs in the left field pavilion plaza; and Mo Martin, the UCLA alumnus and Pasadena native who won golf’s
Women’s British Open, throwing the ceremonial first pitch.

All auto gates will open at 4:30 p.m. and all stadium gates at 5 p.m. for the 7:10 p.m. game.
