California Dept. of Education recently released its rankings of public schools, based on its Academic Performance Index, or API. “10†is the highest score possible. Brentwood Science Magnet School ranked 8 and Paul Revere Jr. High School achieved a ranking of 9.
In a separate ranking recently published by Newsweek and its website, The Daily Beast, Pali High ranked 588 out of the top 1,000 public high schools in America. Pali High has a 98 percent graduation rate. 91 percent go on to college. The school’s average SAT score was 1616 and the average ACT score was 23.3. The average AP score is 3.6.
