Students will be exposed to all aspects of comedy and be given the tools to develop great comedic instincts and timing. Topics covered will include: cold reading, auditioning technique, character development, script breakdown and analysis.
The class will culminate with a showcase for industry professionals. There are 22 working spots available in the class with auditing opportunities also available.
Garrett became a stand-up comedian after winning “Star Search.†He starred as Robert Barone on “Everybody Loves Raymond†and as Eddie Stark on “’Til Death.†He won three Emmy ® Awards and a SAG Award for his role on “Everybody Loves Raymond.†Garrett is also one of busiest voice-over talents in Hollywood and starred in the Broadway revival of “The Odd Couple.â€
