SURF 24 founders actress Tanna Frederick, former world champion surfers Peter “†PT†Townend and Shaun Tomson brought together surf pros and celebrities alike to take a splash in the sea for a good causes.
Celebrities who hit the surf for this 24-hour-event, scheduled to coincide with International Surfing Day included John Slattery (Mad Men), Chad Lowe (24), Sam Trammell (True Blood), Tate Donovan (Damages), Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives), Ingo Rademacher (General Hospital), Zoe Bell (Grindhouse), Galen Gering (Days of Our Lives) and others, along with pro-surfers James Pribram, John Philbin, Tom Curren, Buttons Kaluhiokalani, Don Bigelow, Mary Osborne and Matt Beacham.
Music performances for surfers and land lovers alike included noted home grown band ACIDIC, Common Sense and Human Lab.
