Katie Hall of Brentwood and husband Tim Eppley surround Dr. Jane Goodall at a recent primatology conference in Chicago. Katie and Tim recently earned their PhDs in primatology (the study of apes, monkeys, lemurs and other primates.) Katie is now working at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago, overseeing a national study on the health and welfare of chimps in zoos. Tim is seeking a tenure-track position in academia. Katie grew up in the Crestwood Hills section of Brentwood. She once interviewed Jane Goodall for Brentwood News. The interview took place at the Los Angeles Zoo.
