Fire damaged one unit in a row of commercial businesses in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles, authorities said today.
The fire was reported at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday at 2596 West Pico Blvd., said Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Forty firefighters had the flames out in 12 minutes, Stewart said. The fire was contained to the one unit, with no damage to adjoining units or contents.
No injuries were reported, she said.
