Marck Sarfati has hired a real estate attorney in an effort to fight his eviction from the parking lot at Whole Foods on San Vicente Boulevard.
With the September 30 deadline looming for Marck Sarfati and his Brentwood Newsstand in front of Whole Foods on San Vicente Boulevard, Sarfati has hired legal counsel.
Brentwood Real Estate Attorney Jonathan M. Levitan has 30 years of litigation experience. “We have entered a new phase in our battle with Whole Foods and are going forward to try and get our business made a Historical Landmark by the City of Los Angeles,” Sarfati noted on his Facebook page. “This is not an easy road to travel, but seems to be our only hope since we have had no communication with Whole Foods corporate to this point. I reach out to my friends with a plea for help with a new page just started by our supporters in this new phase of legal battles. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will go to our defense only! Please share this with your friends as well.”
Sarfati has set up a GoFundMe page, which you can find at gofundme.com/SaveBrentwoodNewsstand.
“Thank you all for helping to save Brentwood newsstand,” he said. We’re here to service the community as we have for the last 28 years.”
