Air quality will be “unhealthy for sensitive individuals” in Los Angeles County Tuesday, according to the County Department of Public Health.
People with heart disease, asthma or other respiratory diseases should minimize outdoor activities, said Los Angeles County’s interim health officer, Dr. Jeffrey Gunzenhauser.
And children who have sensitive conditions — including heart disease, asthma, and other chronic respiratory diseases — are advised not to participate in outdoor physical activity and to stay indoors as much as possible, Gunzenhauser said.
