Burglars who targeted a Beverly Hills home were at large Tuesday after they escaped a police perimeter surrounding the residence in which they were believed to be hiding.
The burglary was reported just after 8 p.m. Monday in the 500 block of North Walden Drive, near Santa Monica and Wilshire boulevards, according to Beverly Hills police.
The suspects, but no residents, were believed to be in home, which was surrounded by officers, police said. The public was advised to avoid the area and residents were urged to call authorities if they spotted anyone suspicious.
The search concluded around 4:40 a.m.
