Mr. Anthony (Tony) Creed has been appointed as the Acting Associate Director of Community Based Care at the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. He most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer for VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System in North Las Vegas, Nevada, where he directed numerous endeavors including the planning and execution of over $500 million annual operating budget and the financial activation of the new Medical Center.
A retired Naval Officer and disabled Veteran who proudly receives his healthcare in the VHA medical system, Mr. Creed served in a wide-variety of leadership positions prior to joining the VA. Several noteworthy positions were high level leadership roles with Department of Homeland Security in the Los Angeles Regional Office and Department of the Navy in Ventura County, California, as well as Chief Executive Officer of two holding companies, one in Virginia and one in Kiev, Ukraine.
Mr. Creed is currently a Doctoral Candidate with the International School of Management, completing his course work at St John’s University, New York and Temple University, Tokyo, Japan. He is a graduate of the Ken Blanchard Executive MBA program and also holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree from Averett University, Danville, Va. Mr. Creed has also been selected by the Corporate Employee Development Board to represent VA in the 2017 Executive Potential Program.
