A search was underway today for whoever shot a 12- year-old girl near Watts, wounding her.
As of this morning, no suspects have been arrested, said Lt. Chris Merlo of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Southeast Station.
The girl was walking in the 1500 block of East 92nd Street when a burgundy Dodge Charger rolled by with two males inside, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD’s Media Relations Section.
The girl suffered multiple graze wounds but had stable vital signs when taken to a hospital, Eisenman said.
