The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose three-tenths of a cent today to $2.732, one day after increasing one-tenth of a cent.
The average price is 1.2 cents more than one week ago and 4.2 cents higher than one month ago but 74.6 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has risen six-tenths of a cent over the past six days after increasing 1.7 cents over the previous six days.
The Orange County average price dropped one-tenth of a cent today to $2.71 after being unchanged each of the previous two days. It is seven-tenths of a cent more than one week ago and 4.4 cents higher than one month ago but 70.2 cents less than one year ago.
The Orange County average price rose 17 times in 19 days through Sunday, increasing 10.7 cents.
