The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County rose one-tenth of a cent today to $2.729, one day after being unchanged.
The average price is 1.1 cents more than one week ago and 3 cents higher than one month ago but 75.5 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has risen three-tenths of a cent over the past five days after increasing 1.7 cents over the previous six days.
The Orange County average price was unchanged today for the second consecutive day, remaining at $2.711. It is 1 cent more than one week ago and 3.8 cents higher than one month ago but 70.6 cents less than one year ago.
The Orange County average price rose 17 times in 19 days through Sunday, increasing 10.7 cents.
