A man was shot and wounded today in a confrontation with two other men in the Harvard Heights area west of downtown Los Angeles, police said.
The shooting occurred about 5:15 a.m. near Western Avenue and 20th Street, said Los Angeles police Officer Aareon Jefferson.
The wounded man was taken to a hospital in stable condition, Jefferson said. No arrests were reported.
