A 29-year-old transient accused of killing a woman whose body was found in a West Hollywood trash bin is scheduled to be arraigned today on a murder charge.
Abdulla Tario Camran was arrested Tuesday in Pomona in connection with the death of 28-year-old Joie Nicole Kinney, whose body was discovered July 6 across from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in the 8700 block of Beverly Boulevard. Prosecutors say the pair were dating when Kinney was killed.
Camran is being held in lieu of $2 million bail. He was charged in a felony arrest warrant complaint on July 14. He is scheduled to be arraigned at the Airport Branch Courthouse.
Authorities have not said how Kinney was killed.
Camran faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
