‘Fear the Walking Dead’ Session, Dick Wolf Salute Set for PaleyFest

A panel discussion with the cast and creative team of the AMC horror series “Fear the Walking Dead” and a salute to producer Dick Wolf will be held tonight at the Dolby Theatre as part of the 33rd annual PaleyFest.

“Fear the Walking Dead” cast members Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Lorenzo James Henrie, Ruben Blades, Mercedes Mason and Colman Domingo, co-creator Dave Erickson and fellow executive producer Gale Anne Hurd are scheduled to participate in the panel discussion.

The Aug. 17 premiere of the prequel to “The Walking Dead” drew the largest audience for a premiere in cable television history, 10.13 million viewers.

“Fear the Walking Dead” received a Saturn Award nomination for best horror television series, while Dickens was nominated for best actress on television and Dillane for best performance by a younger actor in a television series.

The session is set to begin at 2 p.m.

Stars of the NBC dramas “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.” and “Chicago Med,” will salute Wolf in a session set to begin at 7 p.m.

Wolf and Jason Beghe and Sophia Bush of “Chicago P.D.,” S. Epatha Merkerson, Oliver Platt and Colin Donnell of “Chicago Med,” Taylor Kinney and Jesse Spencer of “Chicago Fire” and Ice-T from “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” are set to participate in the panel discussion.

Tickets for the sessions are priced from $30-$80 and can be purchased at the festival’s website, paleyfest.org. A limited number of tickets will be sold at the Dolby Theatre.

The festival will conclude Sunday with a 7 p.m. session on “American Horror Story: Hotel.”
