With host Kris Jenner likely out tending to her former son-in-law Lamar Odom in a hospital in Nevada, Emmy Award-winning reporter and KTLA anchor Wendy Burch took over presenting duties for the 14th Annual LAPD Police Protective League’s Eagle & Badge Foundation Gala at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Benefiting LAPD officers and their family members, the Eagle & Badge Foundation Gala not only raised funds and presented awards but also allowed guests and LAPD supporters intimate interactions with more than 100 police officers. And all funds raised benefit LAPD officers, their children, and families in time of critical need, whether with special equipment or medical items, a service dog for a small child of an officer, or other emergency situations.

With a special performance from the multi-platinum band The Tenors, the Eagle & Badge Foundation Gala received guests such as L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck, Rob Bonfiglio, SoCal VoCals, and President of the Eagle & Badge Foundation Peter R. Repovich.

Honorees for the evening included actress and activist Catherine Bach, producer and community leader Jonathan Sheinberg, and attorney and youth advocate Rocky Delgadillo.
