A 21-year-old man was found drowned today in the backyard pool of the home of actress and producer Demi Moore.
A police officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s West Los Angeles station confirmed that the department was conducting an investigation into the man’s death, adding that the celebrity was not at home and not involved in the man’s death.
Firefighters were dispatched to the house, in the 9700 block of Oak Pass Road, at 5:17 a.m., a city spokesman said. That is in the Beverly Crest neighborhood, in the so-called “Beverly Hills Post Office” area north of Beverly Hills.
A technician from the Coroner’s Office was dispatched to the scene at 6:55 a.m., according to Coroner’s Lt. Fred Corral.
Oak Pass Road is a winding hillside street on the eastern side of Benedict Canyon, and above Trousdale Estates and Beverly Hills.
Photos of the movie star, reportedly strolling Saturday on a street in Vancouver, Canada, were posted on the Internet Saturday.
Neighbors told tabloid reporters that Moore’s children have been hosting nighttime parties at the house all week, including the last night.
