Marine Corps Sgt. Ladarrius Robinson of Minden,
Louisiana, will be honored as the Military Hero of the Game at tonight’s Los Angeles Dodgers-Atlanta Braves game at Dodger Stadium.
Robinson enlisted in the Marine Corps after graduating from Grambling State University. He was deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom III, serving as part of the largest combat-deployed battalion in Marine Corps
history, 3rd Battalion 4th Marines.
Robinson was also deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
Tim Leary, who won a career-high 17 games for the Dodgers 1988 World Series championship team, will sign autographs in the left field pavilion from 5-7 p.m.
Jerry Vivino, saxophonist in the house band of the TBS late-night talk
show “Conan,” will perform the national anthem.
Auto gates will open at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates at 5:10 p.m. Pregame
ceremonies will begin at 6:55 p.m. for the 7:10 p.m. game.
