Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 21-year-old son got involved in a dispute with another motorist who rammed the young man’s car before speeding away and could face an assault with a deadly weapon charge if found, police said today.
The dispute occurred on Feb. 10 near Riverside Drive at Whitsett Avenue in the Valley Village area, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison.
He said Patrick Schwarzenegger was westbound on Riverside at Whitsett about 11 a.m. when a driver in a gray or silver VW Jetta or Nissan rolled down the passenger window and threw what appeared to be water on his car and then took off.
Schwarzenegger began chasing the car and at one point started to give up, but then made a U-turn and continued to follow him, Madison said. The pursuit ended when the other driver rammed Schwarzenegger’s vehicle and kept going.
Schwarzenegger’s girlfriend, singer-actress Miley Cyrus, was not with him at the time. The USC student and model is the eldest son of former Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.
