Police on Saturday sought the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole a package from the porch of a home in Venice after it was delivered by UPS.
The suspect was caught in the act on surveillance video taking the package on Tuesday, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Also caught on video was a blue compact Toyota sedan driving past the victim’s home, making a U-turn and passing the home again, police said.
“Within less than a minute, the suspect is seen committing the crime,” according to a police statement.
The suspect is possibly Hispanic and wore a red hoodie, black T-shirt with white lettering and black pants.
