A man was in custody today and likely to be booked for attempted murder for the assault of a man in Griffith Park, police said.
The suspect, who was not identified, was arrested Monday night, said Los Angeles police Sgt. Wayne Guillary.
The victim remained hospitalized in an intensive care unit for treatment of blunt force trauma injuries, Guillary said.
Police have been unable to identify the victim, who was found in Griffith Park with multiple injuries about 2:30 p.m. Monday.
The victim suffered severe injuries to his face,KCAL9 reported. Thevictim and his suspected assailants may have been homeless, according to the station.
