The Harry Barovsky Memorial Youth Commission will host the annual Haunted Maze and Outdoor Movie at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Hwy. on Friday, October 17, 2014.
The Maze will be open from 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm and the movie will begin at sunset.
The Youth Commission will be partnering with Mending Kids International for a donation drive of toothbrushes and toothpaste to benefit children in developing countries. Participants who bring new, unopened toothbrushes and toothpaste for donation will receive free tickets to the Haunted Maze (a $5 value).
The Haunted Maze will take place outdoors and will feature Insane Clowns, zombies and fictional scary movie characters. Maze tickets are $5 per person.
The feature film, “ParaNorman” (rated PG), will be shown on the City’s outdoor 20-foot movie screen. Participants are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs.
Proceeds from the event will support the Youth Commission’s Teen Film Festival, occurring on January 9, 2015.
