Steve Harvey, Ellen DeGeneres, and the soap opera The Young and the Restless were among the notable winners at the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards (Daytime Emmys) at the Beverly Hilton on June 22.
The Ellen DeGeneres Show won its eighth Daytime Emmys trophy as the outstanding entertainment talk show Sunday night at a ceremony hosted by comedian Kathy Griffin. The Steve Harvey show took honors as the outstanding informative talk show, and Harvey also was selected top game show host for Family Feud.
CBS’ The Young the Restless – nominated for 26 awards – grabbed six of them, including best drama series.
Separate from Sunday’s event, the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards ceremony, during which many of the technical awards were presented, was held June 20 at the Westin Bonaventure.
