A stretch of the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in the Sepulveda Pass will be closed overnight tonight as crews continue re-aligning lanes on the roadway.
The southbound freeway will be closed from Getty Center Drive to Wilshire Boulevard beginning around midnight, with the roadway expected to reopen at 5 a.m. tomorrow. Freeway ramps in the closure area will begin closing at 7 p.m., with some lanes being blocked beginning at 10 p.m.
Southbound motorists will be diverted off the freeway at Getty Center, then directed south on Sepulveda Boulevard to Wilshire, then back to the freeway, according to Metro, which is overseeing the freeway construction project.
