Join PRCS for Fun-Filled Recreational Swim Activities
The Parks, Recreation, and Community Services (PRCS) department of Culver City is gearing up for an exciting summer kickoff event: recreational swim activities scheduled for Saturday, June 15, 2024, from noon to 3 p.m.
The event, to be held at the Culver City Municipal Plunge, 4175 Overland Ave, is a promise of a day filled with laughter and fun, featuring a variety of activities such as an exciting obstacle course, a refreshing splash pad, playful inner tubes, thrilling diving boards, delicious snow cones, and lively music. Attendees will also have the chance for a memorable photo op with a special appearance by King Triton.
Participants will have access to shallow water areas for free navigation, as well as a deep water play lane and diving boards for those who successfully pass a swim test. Organizers emphasize safety measures, noting that children under 48 inches tall must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or older in the water, with an adult-to-child ratio of 1:1 at all times.
Interested individuals must register in advance to participate in the event. You can register online at the Parks website.
