AMC Theatres Unveils Eight Money-Saving Deals for Summer Movie Season

Enjoy Discounted Tickets, Special Promotions, and Fan Favorites at AMC

If you are a movie lover who has not been able to see as many of the films you want to watch this year, AMC has some new deals to help you go to the movies. If you have children, there’s a special series of family-friendly movies for three dollars per ticket.

AMC Theatres, the world’s largest movie theater chain, is offering multiple ways for moviegoers to save money this summer, making it easier and more affordable to enjoy the magic of movies.

Ellen Copaken, AMC’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, highlighted the various discounts available. “We offer moviegoers many different ways to find opportunities to save at AMC all summer long,” Copaken said. “These deals help make the magic of movies at AMC even more affordable and accessible for moviegoers throughout the United States.”

Here are eight ways to save at AMC Theatres this summer:

  1. Discount Tuesday: AMC Stubs A-List, Premiere, and Insider members receive significant ticket discounts every Tuesday. Members can also enjoy a small drink or ICEE and small popcorn for just $5.
  2. Matinee Pricing: Tickets are 25% off every day before 4 p.m. at any AMC, AMC DINE-IN, or AMC CLASSIC theatre nationwide.
  3. AMC Summer Movie Camp: From June 24 to August 14, parents and kids can watch classic films for just $3 per ticket every Monday and Wednesday. This year’s lineup includes “Minions: The Rise of Gru,” “Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax,” “Sing,” “Sing 2,” “The Secret Life of Pets,” “Migration,” “Despicable Me 2,” and “Despicable Me 3.”
  4. AMC Stubs A-List Subscription: For $19.95 per month, subscribers can watch up to three movies each week in any format, including Dolby Cinema, IMAX, and PRIME at AMC. Benefits include free ticket reservations, point accumulation with every purchase, and more.
  5. AMC Stubs Premiere Membership: For $15 per year, members enjoy waived online ticket fees, free size upgrades on popcorn and drinks, and $5 rewards for every $50 spent. New members joining through September 4 receive a $5 bonus for use on tickets or snacks.
  6. AMC Screen Unseen: For just $5, moviegoers can watch new, unreleased films. The title remains a mystery until showtime, but the MPAA rating is disclosed in advance.
