Santa Monica played host to the 4th annual Garagiste wine festival Saturday July 15, with 50 of the best of California’s micro-production wineries pouring their wares all under one roof.
Held at Santa Monica Bay Women’s Club, the sold-out event delighted the palate of attendees with handcrafted wines presented by the winemakers themselves, alongside small bites and great conversation.
Garagiste is a movement of small-volume winemakers, who refuse to follow the “rules,” often creating spectacular cuvees with interesting blends and rare varietals. For more information on upcoming events head to: garagistefestival.com.

The sold out Garagiste event presented many of the best small-batch wines California has to offer.
