The path to Easy Street can be as close as your neighborhood convenience store tonight, as the multi-state Powerball game holds a drawing that could deliver a $422 million jackpot.
Tonight’s drawing takes place at 8 p.m., but ticket sales are cut off at 7 p.m.
No tickets were sold with all six numbers in Saturday’s drawing of the multi-state lottery game. The drawing was the 22nd since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, would have been worth about $1.16 million, but no such ticket was sold either, according to the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game.
The numbers drawn Saturday were 5, 7, 23, 35, 39 and the Powerball number was 11.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball number is 1 in about 293 million, according to the Powerball website. The overall chance of winning a prize is 1 in 24.87.
The Powerball game is played in 44 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.
