A fireworks show set to the music of the 1980s is scheduled to follow tonight’s Los Angeles Dodgers-Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Freeway Series game at Dodger Stadium.
Fans will be invited onto the field to watch the show, which will take place before 11 p.m. and is subject to cancellation if the game lasts too long.
Lee Lacy, a Dodger second baseman-outfielder from 1972-78, will sign autographs in the left field pavilion plaza from 5-7 p.m.
Shemar Moore, a cast member on the CBS drama “Criminal Minds,” will throw the ceremonial first pitch.
The Military Heroes of the Game will be U.S. Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Joshua Rodriguez of Los Angeles and U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Joseph Henneman of Toledo, Ohio.
The Angels lead the all-time series, which began in 1997, 57-43. The teams are tied, 25-25, at Dodger Stadium.
The Dodgers were 3-1 against the Angels in 2014, splitting two games at Dodger Stadium and winning both games in Anaheim.
Auto gates will open at 4:40 p.m. and stadium gates at 5:10 p.m. Pregame ceremonies will begin at 6:55 p.m. for the 7:10 p.m. game.
