The Los Angeles Kings will honor former left wing Tony Granato before tonight’s game against the Detroit Red Wings at Staples Center in the second of the their Legends Night Series games for the 2014-15 season.
Fans will receive a poster featuring Granato, who had 305 points in 380 games with the Kings from 1990-96. He is in his first season as an assistant coach with the Red Wings.
The Kings will wear their vintage gold jerseys with a crown on the front.
The Kings will conduct their final Legends Nights this season on March 7 against the Pittsburgh Penguins, honoring Hockey Hall of Fame member Luc Robitaille. A statue of Robitaille will be unveiled in Star Plaza outside Staples Center before that game.
