Meet Century City: Chelsea Pinto, Aesthetic Dentistry

Chelsea Pinto.
Chelsea Pinto.

As an associate general dentist at the Century City Aesthetic Dentistry office, Chelsea Pinto has held a special place in her heart not only for Los Angeles as a USC graduate, but also for Century City, which is where she was wed and where she continues to enjoy living and working.

Located at 2080 Century Park East, Suite 1601, Century City Aesthetic Dentistry has about 20 employees.

Tell me a little about what you do in Century City?

I joined the Century City Aesthetic Dentistry team as an associate general dentist in August. Becoming part of the inspiring dental team in this beautiful, state-of-the-art private practice was incredibly exciting. I am located in Suite 1601 of the 2080 Century Park East Medical Building. Feel free to visit DrChelseaPinto.com to learn more about my dental services.

What motivated you to get into the role?

Dentistry is constantly evolving and Century City Aesthetic Dentistry incorporates the latest cosmetic techniques to provide our patients with the best modern dentistry has to offer. I am happy to work with such an exceptional crew and wonderful patients. It makes the work not seem like work at all, and it reaffirms why I love my career!

Where did it all begin for you career-wise?

The field of dentistry uniquely combines my passion for continual learning and for using my education to influence and improve the lives and lifestyles of my patients. I am an Indianapolis native and I moved to Los Angeles to pursue my dream of becoming a dentist. As a Doctor of Dental Surgery graduate from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, I further enhanced my skill level and case exposure through the LAC + USC General Practice Residency program.

What do you love about Century City? Where is your favorite place to eat/exercise/take a break from the office in the area?

Century City is a community bursting with professionalism, leadership, hospitality, and creativity. The area will always hold an extra special place in my heart as my husband and I married at the gorgeous InterContinental Hotel in June 2013. The spirit of the residents, visitors and employees creates a safe and engaging environment. I love to enjoy a quick bite for lunch in the outdoor dining area of the Century Plaza Towers.

If you could add one thing to the area what would it be and why?

I am looking to expand my professional connections and relationships and I would love to see a Century City young professionals networking event happen! I think a social would build a sense of community and foster an environment where business relationships and friendships can grow.

What do you do in you spare time?

My life beyond dentistry includes plenty of outdoor activities with my husband, dog and friends. I love hiking and biking along the Santa Monica Beach boardwalk. Nothing better than fresh air, California sunshine and delicious fish tacos on a Sunday!

What is one cool thing that you want to do this year?

A dear friend of mine moved to London last spring and I am set on planning a trip to visit. Since you can whiz from London to Paris in a little over two hours on the high speed train, I look forward to exploring both magical cities! Traveling truly soothes my soul.

Where was your last vacation?

I was able to spend the Thanksgiving holiday in Phoenix at my in-laws’ with my family. Phoenix weather is incredible in the winter. I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing outside, post-turkey feasting, around a fire with those I love.

Where do you wish your last vacation was?

Bali. That’s definitely the spot up next on my dream destination list.
