Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga will perform together at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles and Radio City Music Hall in New York City next year, Live Nation announced today.
The Hollywood Bowl concert will take place Saturday, May 30, and the one in New York on Friday June 18, Live Nation said. Tickets for both performances will go on sale starting Monday, Nov. 3.
The two “once in a lifetime” concerts are being announced following the immediate sell-out of the recently announced Bennet Gaga concert scheduled for The Wiltern in Los Angeles on Feb. 8. The concerts will represent a celebration of their new collaborative jazz album, “Cheek To Cheek,” according to Live Nation.
“Cheek to Cheek” debuted at Number 1 on the Billboard 200 charts when it was released Sept. 23. At 88, Bennett remains the oldest artist in music industry history to have an album on the Number 1 spot on the Billboard charts, Live Nation said. “Cheek To Cheek” marks Lady Gaga’s third consecutive Number 1 album in just over three years.
