Approximately 15,000 fans at today’s Los Angeles Dodgers-New York Mets game will receive a voucher instead of a Matt Kemp figurine.
The team had promised figurines of the outfielder to the first 40,000 fans entering Dodger Stadium. However, due to what the team described as “unforeseeable circumstances related to shipping and customs control,” approximately 15,000 figurines will not be available for distribution, the team announced.
When the supply on hand has been distributed, those among the first 40,000 in attendance who do not receive a figurine will receive a voucher for one.
The vouchers will be redeemable at Dodger Stadium’s Top of the Park Merchandise Store from Sept. 1-28 during games and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on non-game days, the team announced.
Fans will also have the option of mailing their vouchers to the Fan Services Department and the figurines will be sent to them at the address specified on the voucher. Details for redemption by mail will be printed on each voucher.
