The Venice Family Clinic (VFC) is the largest free clinic in the USA serving more than 24, 000 underinsured and/or uninsured patients at its Westside clinics annually.
Thanks to the generosity of Lou and Irma Colen and the donors they inspired VFC has a 3400 square foot clinic located where the highest concentration of low-income, Westside families live.
“People need care in the neighborhoods where they live,†says Elizabeth Benson Forer, Venice Family Clinic’s CEO. “Situating a clinic here saves time and transportation costs for families who have the least of these to spare, and it 
strengthens the community.â€
