The Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel hosted the Black and White Ball which also featured video tributes to the high school members known as Tick Tockers, dinner and dancing. Each of the Tick Tockers had a UCLA Marine Corps escort and were presented with a locket from their mothers.
Membership in NCL, gives mothers and daughters unique opportunities to strengthen their bond while growing together, sharing of themselves and improving their communities. It is the only national organization committed to fostering the mother-daughter relationship through joint philanthropic, leadership and cultural activities.
The new NCL Westside Chapter members spent the 2012-2013 school year volunteering several thousand hours to charities including; Operation Gratitude, Casa Pacifica, Shane’s Inspiration, Meals on Wheels, Pediatric Therapy Network, Tree People, Heal The Bay, John Wayne Cancer Center, American Cancer Society Discovery Shop, Mar Vista Family Center, and The Ronald McDonald Charities.
