New Leaf Recycling is holding an E-Waste Event on Feb. 18 at TJ’s Auto Solutions, at the corner of Montana and San Vicente. E-Waste events are designed to allow California residents a convenient way to discard their unwanted electronic devices and or equipment.
These events work in conjunction with local and state laws which prohibit the landfilling of certain electronic devices which contain harmful carcinogens. Most events are held by state licensed electronic waste recyclers or collectors who are tasked with the ethical and responsible recycling of these devices.
