Make Me Famous Ent.—The New Way to Make Music and Search for Talent

With a passion for making music and an emerging desire to be the next Katy Perry, Adele, Lil Wayne, or even the next Drake, artists are flocking to a new Web site that allows them to collaborate with other songwriters, producers, directors, and managers.

Before Make Me Famous launched, artists had minimal to no resources when it came to making music. At best, they would sing a capella or re-use the instrumental beat from an old track, making it very difficult to create original music.

And let’s face it, not everybody has access to a nearby studio.

Within 4 weeks of its launch, Make Me Famous enjoyed the membership of over 1200 members who signed up for the benefits of collaborating with other musicians whose goals aligned with theirs.

The music site offers artists variety, and a platform to expose samples of their work and dabble with tracks that have not been exposed to the public yet.

Much like collaborative painters who create magnificent drawings on a blank canvas, the songwriter can paint new lyrics onto a never-before-heard track, and the singer can beautify the song with her voice. And if need be, an emerging new rapper can chime in with powerful lyrics that would resemble the likes of Eminem or Drake, who are often found teaming up with Rihanna.

“Music has always been and will continue to be a work-in-progress that requires the collaborative efforts of many, many people,†said a source who hopes to invest with MMF.

“And this is exactly where musicians with no resources and no idea where to go, can showcase their work and connect with a network of people who will expedite the process of putting together CDs and mixtapes to showcase. This is the first site of its kind. It’s that simple.â€

Already, entire mixtapes have been produced and showcased. Agents are now frequenting the site to find new talent, and hopeful artists who regularly sign up for auditions with The X-Factor or American Idol, have found a place that they like to call home.

Make Me Famous CEO Josh Ahdoot said he wants to change the way people make music and search for talent.

“It’s so difficult to look for talent these days, or to market yourself as talent. Nobody knows where to go or who to collaborate with once they put lyrics to paper,†said Ahdoot.

“What’s the next step? Who do I talk to now? Where can I find an appropriate track that matches the message I’m trying to send out with these lyrics?—These are the questions that artists and musicians ask themselves. And I wanted to create a site with the answers. I wanted to create a network of people who are eager to produce and help each other.â€
