Coronet Debutantes Luncheon and Fashion Show
The 2008 Coronet Debutantes were announced on August 2 during a luncheon at the Bel-Air Country Club. This year’s Coronet Debutante Ball will be held at the Beverly Hilton on November 29.
Lisa Marie’s Baby Shower
On August 2, Pure Aesthetics-Pure Wellness Spa in Bel-Air took part in an exclusive surprise baby shower for mom-to-be Lisa Marie Presley hosted by singer Pink. Pure Aesthetics presented the King’s daughter with a highly sought-after gift basket as well as favorite “mommy-centric†treatments offered at the facility.
California Spirit Fighting Cancer
On August 10, the Ken Roberts Ranch was the setting for the American Cancer Society event California Spirit XXIV. The event netted $550,000 and welcomed guests with some of L.A.’s finest food and wine. It was a picture perfect garden party to honor Nancy Daly-Riordan and Realtor Joyce Rey, both cancer survivors, with California Spirit Awards for their support. The “Spirit of Life†award was awarded to Joyce Rey for her outstanding dedication and service to fighting cancer and seeking a cure.
